Architectural or Engineering Design Technician

We are seeking a design technician to join our team. The successful applicant will be motivated to develop a career in the design and construction industry and keen to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team on a range of projects from residential to commercial and industrial developments.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Creation of technical documentation to communicate design detail for a diverse range of construction projects

  • Onsite fieldwork and measurement

Selection Criteria:

  • Cert IV or higher qualification in engineering or residential drafting

  • Demonstrated interest in a career in the design and construction industry and a willingness to learn

  • Experience using AutoCAD

Architectural Designer

We are seeking an experienced architectural designer to contribute to preparation of documentation and specifications for commercial and industrial developments. 

The successful applicant will have some design experience, but most importantly be motivated to deliver design outcomes for commercial clients.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design for planning and building permit phases for commercial and industrial developments

  • Onsite fieldwork and measurement

  • Consultation with clients to develop the desired design outcomes

  • Liaison with consultants and Local Government

  • Project management

Selection Criteria:

  • Qualifications in Architecture or Building Design

  • Demonstrated interest in a career in the design and construction industry

  • Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD products

  • Experience with Sketchup and rendering would be considered favourably

​

We will provide on-the-job training and professional development opportunities. 

Remuneration and contractual conditions commensurate with the level of experience will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
